Crediting of Bill Deposit Interest

Nais po naming ipaalam sa mga minamahal naming konsyumer na ngayong January 2026 billing month ay magkakaroon muli ng bill deposit interest crediting para sa mga konsyumer na nakapagbayad ng bill deposit.

Ang nasabing halaga ay awtomatikong ibabawas sa inyong January 2026 electric bill. Ito ay alinsunod sa ERC Resolution No. 28, Series of 2010, na nagsasaad na ang mga distribution utilities ay kinakailangang magbigay ng interes sa cash bill deposits batay sa interest rate ng peso savings account ng Land Bank of the Philippines o iba pang government banks, na may pahintulot ng ERC.

"Distribution utilities shall pay interest on cash bill deposits equivalent to the peso savings account interest rate of Land Bank of the Philippines on the first working day of the year, or other government banks subject to the approval of ERC."
