OEDC Distribution Rate Increase Notice

To Our Valued Customers:

Please be informed that the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has released an order dated 6 March 2018 under ERC Case No. 2015-161 authorizing OEDC to implement an average distribution rate increase of Php 0.3776/kWh effective on its next billing cycle. OEDC shall implement the increase starting June 2018 billing.

Specifically, the approved rates are as presented below:

To recall, OEDC filed its application for distribution rate increase with ERC on               7 September 2015.  For the said application, ERC conducted a public hearing on 29 October 2015 which was held at the Convery Hall, Columban College.

The existing rates are still the approved rates for Olongapo City Public Utilities Department (OCPUD) in the rate unbundling case promulgated by Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) last 24 August 2005 rendered ERC Case No. 2004-456 using the test year 2000 as basis of costs.
